| Description | An example of beadwork in a Native American style. It is in a brown, green, and blue tulip design with background beads in off-white. Around the perimeter are alternating bands of red and black beads. The beading was done on a peach print cotton fabric that can be seen on the reverse. Also seen on the reverse is a narrow band of leather which indicates that the piece may have had a leather back at one time and might have been used as a purse or bag. Date unknown. |
