Transcript	"Wilson Creek, Wash. Oct. 22, 1911. Dear Friend Jake, I received your card yesterday and certainly was surprised to hear from you again. We have been wondering where you was but never could find out. Well, what are you doing by this time? I am going to school. Miss [Ireland?] is my teacher you had better come back and start school again for you known how nice she is. Caroline is going to College down at Walla Walla. Do you know who we are on the other side? The weather is fine has not been very cold yet this year. Is it very cold up there? [Jan?] wants you to write to her. She asks about you every letter I get. Let [...] hear from you. From your Friend, Emma Zickler. [post script] [Emil?] is staying with us again you know he was at your uncle [...] winter well [...] with your step-mother [...].
