About this collection

Materials in this collection are held by the Richland Public Library (Washington State). Located at the confluence of of the Yakima River and the Columbia River, Richland is known as one of the United States' three "atomic cities." 

The initial offerings provided here (digitized 2017-2018) include a collection of Robley "Ron" Johnson photographs depicting businesses and buildings in Richland as they appeared in the 1950s.

The collection is funded by a grant from the Washington State Library through the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
