Description | A dog walking on this wooden treadmill ramp would turn a large pulley wheel attached to the side. The pulley wheel was attached by a leather strap to a smaller pulley wheel on the washing machine stand & that wheel was connected by a shaft to gears that made the tub agitators & wringer turn. The wringer has a differential gear with a clutch that could engage & disengage the wringer. Donated to the Asotin County Museum by Hurley Halsey |
