Early Columbia County School Photographs Collection
This collection contains 51 original photographs of school houses, some showing just the building while others include students or other people in the photograph. Some of the photographs show more than one school building for a school district at different times, eras, and locations. At one time, there were as many as 61 school districts with 54 of them having school buildings.
If anyone has additional photographs of schools not yet included in the collection, contact the Columbia County Rural Library District so additional photographs can be added to the collection. In addition, help us identify some of the students in the photographs. If anyone knows who a student is, please contact the Columbia County Rural Library District so the information can be added to the collection data.
